Beautiful, peaceful and private! Great get away without the crowds. The couple who run it are lovely!

Nice vacation for people who wants to get far from civilization. There is no phone or TV coverage. It's on the side of beautiful river and you have hiking trail right from your room. Owned by nice Swiss family and it's not a hotel, but home kind of experience. Things that I liked that it's totally green place with recycling, solar batteries power, wooden fireplace, etc. so you don't disturb wild life and have higher chance to see something in the area. We saw wild horses, deer and a lot of mountain goats. Things I didn't like much that there is no food and you have to bring something with you and cook there, design of rooms is way too simple for the price, there is no phone unless paid phone inside of main building and people go sleep early closing the main gate, so good luck in case of emergency. I hope with those things to improve like at least caffe with sandwiches and minor design upgrade, so as installing simple door bell :-) this place would attack a lot of customers.

Greeted on arrival in the winter months of 2016. Friendly owner, progressive, non-invasive, and eco-minded. Cabins are cute. Dim lights but abundant natural lighting makes for a great connection to nature. A short stroll to pristine mountain and lake views. Local trips to waterfalls and panoramic hikes abound. If looking to get away from city bustle and read a book in tranquility, this is a great option. Thanks for having us. R & L
